Frequently Asked Questions
Which plan do I need?
All simple brochure websites or sites with up to 30 pages would benefit from the Moho Care Basic Plan. E-commerce, ticketing and business critical sites would need the Moho Care Pro Plan.
Can I switch plans anytime?
This depends, if you have a E-commerce site or similar that requires more hosting power then it would not be advisable to switch to the basic plan. However if you are on basic and want to improve performance for any reason and want to move to the Pro plan then this would be possible.
What counts as a support request?
A support request is any task covered under your Care Plan, for example:
- Updating text, images, or prices
- Adding new pages or blog posts
- Fixing broken links or bugs
- Security updates and backups
- Performance monitoring and speed optimisation
- Minor design tweaks
Each plan includes a set number of hours per month. Bigger projects (like redesigns or new features) aren’t covered, but we’ll always give you a clear quote first if something falls outside your plan.
Do you make content edits?
Your website is built so you can easily update content yourself. From text, images, prices, even adding new pages. That’s one of main attractions to using WordPress with Elementor.
However if you get stuck, need help with something technical, or want us to handle a tricky update, that’s what your Care Plan is for. We’re always here to help when you need us, but you’re not locked into emailing us every time you want to change a word. We give you the power to do it yourself.
How quickly do you respond to support requests?
If you’re on the Moho Pro plan we aim to respond within 1 working day, and most fixes are completed within 1–2 working days depending on complexity. Urgent issues (like your site being down) are prioritised and handled as quickly as possible.
If you’re on Moho Basic then we will respond within 1 working day with most fixes completed within 2-3 working days.
What happens if I don't use all my hours in a month?
Unused hours don’t roll over to the next month, each plan resets monthly. But if you’re consistently not using your hours, let us know and we can move you to a plan that’s a better fit. We’d rather you’re on the right plan than paying for support you don’t need.
What's NOT included in the Care Plans?
Care Plans cover ongoing maintenance, technical support, and minor updates. They don’t include major projects like full redesigns, adding complex new features, custom development, or regular content writing. If you need something bigger, we’ll give you a clear quote and timescale upfront.
Do I need a Care Plan, or can I just pay as I go?
You can do either! Care Plans work out more cost-effective if you need regular support, and you get priority response times. Pay-as-you-go is fine for one-off fixes, but without a Care Plan, you won’t have the proactive monitoring, backups, and security updates that keep your site running smoothly.
What happens if my site goes down?
If your site goes down, contact us immediately (we monitor sites on Care Plans, so we’ll often spot issues before you do). We’ll investigate and fix it as a priority. Downtime issues always go to the front of the queue.
Can I cancel my Care Plan?
Yes, you can cancel anytime with one month’s notice. No long-term contracts, no penalties. We’d rather you stay because the service is great, not because you’re locked in
Do you work on sites you didn't build?
Yes! If you have an existing WordPress site and need ongoing support, we’re happy to help. We’ll do a quick audit first to make sure we can support it properly, then get you set up on the right plan.
For sites we didn’t build there is normally a setup fee of £250. which includes a plugin audit and cleanup, connecting to analytics and search console and tuning up the website so that it runs smoothly and performs at it’s best.
